Lincoln HR company Amica has revealed it is to open a London office

The firm, which is based in Lincoln’s Think Tank, will be launching it at The Business Show at ExCel (London) on November 14 and 15.

Director David Grech said: “We decided to take the plunge and take premises in the central London for three reasons.

“We are receiving a rising number of enquiries from the London area and the city is important to us in terms of winning more business. We also have several existing clients who have London offices.

“It seemed sensible to expand this way and avoid our staff having to travel long distances unnecessarily. It is staffed by our HR consultant Julie Greaves, who has the added benefit of also being an experienced coach and NLP Practitioner.

“We’re are really excited about showcasing our London-based office and our wide range of services at The Business Show.

“It is a major event in the business calendar and is about to celebrate its 40th anniversary. It will provide a superb promotional opportunity for Amica HR because it expects to attract 40,000 visitors.”

Fellow director Suzanne Tricker said: “We are delighted to announce that we have also raised our game in terms of the number of people we employ. Our team of eight, and their combined experience, makes us bigger and more qualified than most of our competition in the area and many companies’ internal HR departments.”

The newest members of Amica’s eight-strong team are employment lawyer Lucy Stones and Katrina Gray, who has joined as HR manager.

Tricker added: “Katrina focuses heavily on client management and the firm’s workflow, freeing David and I up to concentrate on the future strategy of the business and get out and about servicing our existing new clients and talking to potential new ones.”
