Three weeks to go until Hot Property

Gavin White

This year’s Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) event is fast approaching and Nottingham’s professionals are now dusting off their microphones and guitars to take part in the event’s rehearsals.

This week we sat down with Gavin White, partner at Fraser Brown – a Nottinghamshire based independent law firm and first-time sponsors of Hot Property – to find out why the firm decided to get involved.

How long have you been participating in Hot Property?

I’ve been part of the band – playing guitar – on and off since 2007! Rehearsals are going well and this year is shaping up to be one of the best yet.

Why did Fraser Brown decide to be sponsors this year?

It was mainly through my encouragement – I’ve been part of NHP for so long now that I thought it would be great for Fraser Brown to have a larger involvement in the event. We have one of the largest commercial property legal teams in the region so it’s a natural fit for us and great to have our firm associated with a great event that does great work supporting such a worthy charity. It’s also probably the best opportunity of the year for the team to mix with clients and peers alike on a social level.

Have you ever had any involvement with the chosen charity PASIC?

We haven’t to date but that’s another reason why I think Hot Property is so great – it highlights and boosts fantastic charities like PASIC which aren’t as universally known as some organisations. At the Hot Property sponsor event, I got to understand more about the work the charity does and I think it’s fantastic that it is being supported this year.

With Fraser Brown there are eight sponsors including: Millward – the headline sponsor – Pulse Associates, Couch Perry Wilkes, Samclo Construction, Faithful+Gould, CPMG and Browne Jacobson. Joining these are: Invest in Nottingham, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.

Tickets are on sale via the Nottingham Hot Property website www.nottinghamhotproperty.com and cost £30 a ticket or £25 a ticket for an order of 10 or more tickets.
