On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Botham Accounting, the Nottingham-based accountancy firm has appointed Tom Gregory as an associate director.

Gregory joins Botham Accounting from Mitchells in Chesterfield where he was a senior corporate manager and a key part of its healthcare offering.

He said: “I am excited to be part of Botham Accounting’s vision for the future and look forward to building an expert Healthcare team with a reputation to match that of our Real Estate and Tax specialisations.”

Andrew Botham, managing director of Botham Accounting, added: “We are delighted to have secured Tom’s appointment and to have him join our team. Tom is well known and respected in the Healthcare sector for his technical expertise and problem solving abilities. The managing director of auction house network John Pye Auctions, Adam Pye, has been appointed as a director of Turnaround Management Associations UK (TMA).

A global organisation with over 8,000 members in 20 countries, TMA brings together professionals from across the globe to meet, network and hear the latest news within business recovery, corporate turnaround and restructuring.

Adam Pye, of John Pye Auctions, has been chosen by the organisation to be a part of its board of directors and will be responsible for the key decision-making process within TMA.

He said: “To be an official part of TMA means a lot to me and the whole team at John Pye. As an industry recognised body with such a great reputation and credibility within its sector, being part of such a highly recognised organisation will help endorse our brand and allow us to give years of experience and expertise back to the industry.
