Leicester-headquartered Affinity Law has expanded into Derby.

The firm says the move forms part of an expansion plan that will cement its presence in Derby as one of the few firms specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence cases. It also marks the ten year anniversary of the female-led firm.

Affinity firm marked the occasion with a launch event in Derby at the historic Old Courthouse. The champagne reception held in the original Barristers’ robing rooms of the Courthouse which is now a fully serviced office facility.

Director Nicola Kitchener said: “Affinity Law was established to provide a truly unique and personal service for our clients with highly specialised solicitors supported by the barristers, medical experts and rehabilitation providers. We aim to deliver an exceptional and supportive service throughout the duration of the claim.”

She added: “Sue and I are delighted to be celebrating ten successful years in business with the expansion of the company. We are proud of the results we achieve for our clients which are supported by the fantastic testimonials we receive.”

Personal injury lawyer Debra Morris will be heading up the Derby office. She said: “I’m really pleased to be based in Derby, a place that’s close to my heart due to my work with Headway here. I look forward to assisting with Affinity’s drive forward and being part of the team that has built its strong reputation on client care and rehabilitation. It was a real pleasure to celebrate the launch with so many of my friends and contacts here in the city.”
