On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants has added to new faces to its team.

Siobhan Goodman joins the air quality team, whilst Alex Hunter joins the Midlands geo-environmental team.

Goodman graduated from the University of York with a BSc in Environmental Geography and MSc in Environmental Science and Management, while Hunter

joins the Midlands geo-environmental team as graduate consultant, having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University where he studied Environmental Management & Sustainability.

Managing director of Delta-Simons, Alex Ferguson, said: “The appointment of graduates throughout the business is very important to us. As such, we have developed the Delta-Simons Academy. The Academy is our internal strategic business support function which focuses on the provision of technical and commercial training, wellbeing and cultural awareness, as well as health and safety stewardship.

“The Academy also provides early career professionals with a structured approach to Continuous Professional Development in order to establish a foundation of technical, cultural and commercial knowledge to help our staff build their careers.

Lincoln-based digital marketing agency, Distract has taken on three new members of staff.

Craig Smith joins the company as PPC (pay per click) manager, Keziah O’Connor is joining the company as a social advertising executive and Sam Spencer has joined Distract as a video producer.

Distract was founded in 2015 by Peter Watson (managing director) and Bradley McKenny (operations director) and currently has a team of 15.
