Nottingham-based Acres Architects relocated to a larger office and rebranded.

The relocation and rebrand comes as the firm reports a 200% increase in sales since 2016. Acres says it has received recent new business enquiries and appointments of projects with up to £38m in construction value, and is anticipating to double business turnover in the next 12 months.

The firm’s new office is based on Nottingham Science Park, and Acres says it will look to expand its team of 10 by the end of its financial year.

The new office is capable of housing more than 16 staff, and there are plans to recruit and grow the award winning team to 10 staff before the end of the financial year.

Edward Acres, founder and managing director, said: “We needed a place to call home and grow into. We needed a brand that shouted professionalism, reliability and most importantly exceptional design. We needed to demonstrate to our existing customer base we are proud of who we are and ready to invest in the next chapter of our company following its successful growth.”

Split over two floors of the new building, the office features a production studio with the latest BIM and design softwares, break out meeting spaces, and a creative studio. The creative studio is for the design team to work in virtual reality, and use 3D printers and other technologies to design out risk at early stages of projects.
