Record turnout for Nottingham Hot Property

More than 700 of Nottingham’s property and construction professionals came together last Thursday night (8 November) to raise money for PASIC, a childhood cancer support charity.

Held at PRYZM, a record 720 industry leaders attended the fourteenth Nottingham Hot Property (NHP) – dubbed ‘Nottstock’ thanks to the festival theme – with the funds raised going towards helping vulnerable children across Nottinghamshire.

PASIC is a Nottingham and Leicester based charity which aims to support families of young people who are being treated under the East Midlands Children’s and Young Person’s Integrated Cancer Service (CYPICS).

Lynne Farrage, PASIC chair of trustees, said: “The event was absolutely fantastic and we’re so grateful to Nottingham Hot Property for choosing us to be its charity of the year. This kind of support and partnership is vital to a small charity like PASIC and the money raised will make a big difference to the lives of those we support and go directly to helping local families cope with childhood cancer.”

Sponsors are at the heart of all the NHP proceedings and this year was extra special as Millward, long time sponsors and trustees of Hot Property, took the headline sponsorship spot to celebrate 25 years in business.

Nicola Millward, managing director at Millward and Hot Property trustee, said: “Both personally and professionally I’ve been involved with NHP for more than ten years so last night was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.

“The show this year was the best yet and the theme really gave performers a chance to have fun and celebrate artists ranging from James Bay to Dolly Parton! We’re delighted with how well the event went and the response from the audience was incredible. I can’t wait to see how much we raised as it couldn’t be going to a worthier charity.”

Alongside Millward the sponsors of Hot Property 2018 include Pulse Associates, Couch Perry Wilkes, Samclo Construction, Paragon Interiors, Faithful+Gould, Fraser Brown, CPMG and Browne Jacobson. Joining these are Invest in Nottingham, the event’s media partner TheBusinessDesk.com, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.
