Buzz Bingo extends Nottingham footprint

Buzz Bingo, formerly Gala Bingo, has taken a new head lease on 35,000 sq ft of office space in Nottingham.

Buzz will use the offices for its new UK headquarters after taking on extra space at New Castle House. The company will now occupy the lower ground, ground and first floors after previously subleasing space in the building.

Savills acted for Buzz. The property is owned by The Local Authorities’ Property Fund which is managed by CCLA, which was advised by the Nottingham office of JLL.

Ian Muxlow, director in the commercial team at Savills Nottingham, said: “New Castle House is the ideal location for Buzz Bingo’s HQ, providing large floor plates and generous car parking provision in a great central location. We are very pleased to have negotiated this space on the company’s behalf, especially due to the size of the requirement and the limited vacant stock available in and around Nottingham.”

Roy Halliday from the CCLA, added: “We are pleased to have secured Buzz Group Ltd as a tenant at New Castle House, alongside Interoute and UPS. We have continued to invest in the building and in turn Nottingham, enhancing the condition and value of the asset along with the quality of tenant mix. This is another significant letting for the building which I am delighted to say is now fully occupied. ”
