New partner for Geldards in Nottingham

Commercial property lawyer Hélène Maillet-Vioud has joined the law firm’s Nottingham real estate team as a partner.

She joins from Knights in Derby.

Maillet-Vioud has particular experience in the public sector, having advised a number of clients including, Countryside Council for Wales, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Leicestershire County Council and Melton Borough Council. She has also worked with Derby Hospitals Foundation Trust in connection with its development of the Manor Kingsway Hospital site in Derby, and also assisted with its preparations for the sale of the site of the former Derby Royal Infirmary.

She said: “I am very excited to have joined Geldards. I knew that the firm had a good client base and friendly people that I would enjoy working with. The firm has such a great reputation and I think its commitment and involvement with the local community, businesses and projects really makes it stand out from other firms.
