National brands open on North Notts commercial development

Development is just north of Mansfield

Construction on the Old Mill Lane development on the A60 north of Mansfield has completed on schedule, with confirmed tenants Screwfix and leading bakery business Greggs now open for business.

Agent Innes England says there is “strong interest” in the third and final 1,350 sq ft unit.

The news comes just days after leading property development firm Strawsons Property, the company behind the development, confirmed that it had formalised its lease agreement with Screwfix on another of its estates undergoing works in Nottinghamshire – the Hallcroft Trade Centre.

Adam Jones of Strawsons Property said: “There is a great demand for high quality commercial units in Mansfield and we’re delighted to welcome Screwfix and Greggs as tenants to our Old Mill Lane site in deals that we see as indicative of the strong location and high specification of the estate.”

Scott Osborne, associate sirector at Innes England, said: “Once we recognised the site’s potential, it made sense for us to explore options. We quickly identified Screwfix as perfect tenants for the proposed units and terms were swiftly achieved.

“This is one of a number of new site announcements for Screwfix this year and forms part of the company’s aggressive expansion plans which has seen them take on more staff and broaden their presence in the Midlands.”
