‘Vintage gaming’ restaurant and bar given go-ahead

Plans to turn the former Griddle & Shake unit in Nottingham city centre into a vintage gaming arcade with a restaurant and bar have been signed off by the City Council.

A company called Panegyric has been given the go-ahead to turn the vacant unit on Fletcher Gate into a venue for live music, dance shows and film as well and will include football table, pool table, driving machines, karaoke, darts rooms, basketball and air hockey.

In given the green light to the new business, Nottingham City Council said: “The proposal would bring a currently vacant unit back into a viable use which would be an improvement to this part of the Lace Market Conservation Area.”
