On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Leicestershire property agency Wells McFarlane has appointed Lucy Taffs as its head of PR and marketing.

Taffs has worked for some of the UK’s leading advertising agencies on household brands such as British Airways and Jaguar Land Rover, as well as with a portfolio of SMEs and brings a wealth of experience delivering marketing and content strategies.

She said: “Wells McFarlane has provided me with what I can only describe as a dream combination, property and marketing. Having worked in the advertising agency world for many years I am really looking forward to forging a career within the property sector, an area I have a genuine passion for.

“Wells McFarlane are a very successful and ambitious firm, and I am looking forward to continuing to raise the profile of the work they do across the East Midlands and increasingly on a national level.”

Chris Darlington

Former Mazars managing partner Chris Darlington has been hired by brand agency Champions (UK).

He said: “I have been working with Champions for many years, I know how their business works, I know many of the staff, and clients, personally and so it was just a natural fit for me. I look forward to helping the business and being a part of their very promising future.”
