Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has promoted 14 people across its East Midlands business.

The promotions span the firm’s tax, audit and advisory practices in the region.

The news follows the appointment of five new trainees who recently joined the Nottingham office. The latest cohort of trainees, which includes both graduates and apprentices, will embark on a programme that gives opportunity to earn a level 7 qualification – the equivalent to a masters’ degree.

Andrew Mair, lead partner at BDO in Nottingham said: “At BDO, we recognise that our success as a firm and the success of our clients is due to the talent and hard work of our people. These promotions are truly deserved and recognise the ambitious and dedicated professionals we have in the business.

“BDO is a fantastic firm at which to train and build a career, serving a diverse range of interesting and ambitious clients through a combination of international reach and a UK network of regional offices. This provides individuals with development opportunities where they can make a real contribution to their teams, clients and the local business community. I look forward to seeing them flourish and grow within BDO.”
