A new wine bar has opened in Nottingham following a deal brokered by NG Chartered Surveyors.

The Wine Room, owned by Debbie Ault and Peter Brown has opened its doors at 962 Woodborough Road in Mapperley.

Ault is a WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) Diploma graduate and Educator, she also owns NottsDerby Wine School delivering fun wine tastings and qualifications. Her background is in hospitality having worked many years for a large pub chain, before she progressed into training then the wine industry. She will be running the NottsDerby Wine School from the The Wine Room.

Brown has been in retail and hospitality customer facing positions for the last 17 years, as well as the property development business since he was 18. He has designed the look of the Wine Room with his expertise and eye for detail to create a great, contemporary yet relaxed atmosphere.

Suzannah Adcock, surveyor at NG Chartered Surveyors, said: “Mapperley is fast becoming a hub for small, artisan drinking establishments, and NG has been quick to recognise this. We wish Debbie and Peter all the best with their new venture, which we’re sure will be a big success.

“We’re constantly on the look-out for new tenants who want to open leisure venues or landlords who have quality premises they want to let. Please do get in touch with us for more information on how NG can help.”

Brown said: We’re really looking forward to providing the people of Mapperley and surrounding areas a great venue, with excellent quality wines as well as spirits and other drinks.”
