Recruitment firm locks down £105m prison deals

Staffline Group's Nottingham headquarters

Nottingham recruitment and training giant Staffline has revealed that its PeoplePlus division has won £104.6m worth of contracts in the latest round of Prison Education tenders, which run over four years.

The new wins mean Staffline will have around a 25% share of the market and will operate in 22 prisons across the UK.

Chris Pullen, chief executive officer of Staffline, said: “Growing our presence in prison education is a key strategic priority for our PeoplePlus division, and I am delighted that we have managed to exceed the target that we set at the interims. This strong performance is underpinned by our innovative proposition and demonstrates our continued success in transitioning PeoplePlus into the UK’s leading skills and training provider.”
