A52 closed after ‘serious’ collision

The A52 in Lincolnshire is closed westbound between the A1 (Grantham) and the A46 (East Bridgford) due to a serious road traffic collision. Lincolnshire Police and emergency services are currently in attendance.

Highways England says that road users are being diverted off the A52 then take the A1 northbound. Continue along the A1 then take the exit slip road at Newark and head southbound on the A46. Continue on the A46 until you re-join the A52 westbound at the Saxondale Roundabout.

Road users are also advised to allow extra time for their journey.
