Former PKF Cooper Parry stalwart joins Duff & Phelps

Tyrone Courtman

One of the region’s best-known restructuring specialists has joined Duff & Phelps as managing director.

Tyrone Courtman had been with PKF Cooper Parry for 22 year until he left in December last year.

Based in Birmingham, Courtman will focus on restructuring advisory for corporate clients based in the East Midlands. Last year, PKF Cooper Parry disbanded its restructuring team.

Courtman said: “I am absolutely delighted to be a part of the fast growing, dynamic and entrepreneurial team at Duff & Phelps. I have known the firm and its people for a number of years and have seen the business grow into a market leader in the restructuring and insolvency space. I look forward to contributing to the continuing development of the practice and the firm.”

Matt Ingram, managing director, Duff & Phelps, said: “I am pleased to welcome Tyrone to the team based here in Birmingham. His experience and detailed knowledge of the East Midlands will be a significant asset to Duff & Phelps and our clients. Tyrone is the first of a couple of additions to our regional restructuring team, continuing the momentum of our growing practice.”
