On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

SHB Solicitors, the Leicester-based law firms, has added to its team.

Andrew Whitfield, a family law and civil litigator, joins the SHB team bringing with him over 20 years’ experience of dealing with all aspects of family law and civil litigation including cases in the County and High Courts, the Principal Registry and the Court of Appeal.

Clive Cook, partner at SHB, said: “I’ve known Andrew for many years and have admired his way of working and of being able to put clients at ease whilst offering sound and pragmatic advice. I am delighted that he is joining us at SHB where he will be leading our Civil Litigation department and playing a major role in our Matrimonial department.”

Angela Drury

Financial services broker, Midlands Asset Finance (MAF), has hired a new business development manager to cover the Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

Working from the office based in Narborough, Angela Drury will join John Horne and Shital Koria.

She said: “MAF is a business that is really exciting, and I am delighted to have been asked to join.

“The MAF ethos and vision is clear to see and the company is surrounded by a team of highly experienced and talented people who share that same vision.

“I’m looking forward to building upon existing relationships and working on new ones with clients throughout the country.”
