Gym group plans expansion into East Midlands
The former premises of a car parts business could be turned into a gym after a planning application was submitted to Derby City Council.
Foundry Gym wants to turn the ground floor of the Midland Car Parts unit on Parcel Terrace into a 7,200 sq ft gym in a move that will create 10 jobs in Derby.
Foundry has four gyms in the West Midlands in Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Stafford. The plan is to turn the Derby venue into a 24-hour facility which will have around 500 members.
