Sleaford extend sugar and salt renovation

Sleaford Quality Foods, the Lincolnshire cross-category supplier of multiple packaged foods, has pledged to further renovate sugar and salt from its range.

The new programme encompasses soups, stuffings, jelly crystals, bakery mixes, gravies, sweet and savoury sauce mixes.

The aim is to deliver sugar and salt levels below the March 2018 recommendations from Public Health England.

Sleaford commercial director Sonja Bentley said: “Every food producer has responsibility for improving the health and wellbeing of UK consumers, our renovation programme is just one way in which Sleaford steps up and delivers our contribution.”
