Delays on M1 after ‘police incident’

In Leicestershire, the M1 northbound has two lanes closed between J20 and J21 due to an ongoing Police incident.

Highways England says traffic is flowing past the incident slowly in the outside lane.

In a statement, the agency said: “Road users may wish to consider alternative routes and should allow extra time for their journey.”
