Name revealed for new city centre bar
A new bar which will create 11 jobs in Nottingham city centre has revealed its name.
The venue, at 97 Carrington Street, will be be named Cafe Curio, TheBusinessDesk.com understands.
Bywater Restaurants, which has an address in Mansfield, was given the go-ahead to open up the ground floor and basement of the former Bunney’s Bikes unit to serve drinks and ‘charcuterie food’ last month.
The new venture is the latest development on Carrington Street which is set to see huge levels of investment, following the news that Shoby Investments is set to redevelop the City Building.
Bunney’s Bikes moved out of the unit last year. It had been marketed by Spencer Birch, but according to documents seen by TheBusinessDesk.com no retail offers were forthcoming.
