A5 closed in both directions after HGV overturns

The A5 in Leicestershire is closed in both directions between the M69 and the A47 (near Hinckley) due to a road traffic collision involving an overturned HGV and a shed load.

Leicestershire Police, emergency services and Highways England Traffic Officers are in attendance.

Highways England says Road users may wish to consider alternative routes and are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
