Housebuilder launches East Midlands office in £13m investment

A family-owned house building company has opened an office in the East as part of a £13m investment in the region this year.

Cameron Homes has launched its new base at Willow Farm Business Park in Castle Donington.

Regional director Steve Cassie said: “We were delighted to welcome representatives from so many regional companies and organisations to our new offices in Castle Donington.

“An investment of around £13 million will be made in the East Midlands in 2019 and this will rise year on year as we expand.”

Initially a total of 13 regional jobs have been created by Cameron, which has its head office in Chasetown, Staffordshire, with a further seven to follow this year.

Cassie said: “We are very excited by the formation of our new division, set up to cover Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Our substantial investment into the region will support a range of jobs within our firm, sub contractors and suppliers.

“There are plans to build around 70 properties in 2019 and we are seeking to increase this year on year, doubling our turnover in 2020.

“We have four current developments currently at Aston on Trent, Hulland Ward, Brailsford and Repton, with a planning application submitted at Breedon On The Hill so it is going to be a dynamic year.”
