On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Zoe Easey

Digital entrepreneur Zoe Easey has been co-opted onto the board of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership for a year to help steer the LEP’s digital strategy.

A graduate from the University of Lincoln, Easey founded the Lincoln-based creative studio Epix Media in 2010 after working in the industry for two years.

She is also Cchair of Lincoln Business Club and an independent governor at the University of Lincoln.

Zoe becomes the Greater Lincolnshire LEP’s first co-opted board director and will focus on the digital sector in the coming year.

“I’m incredibly proud to be a co-opted director on the Greater Lincolnshire LEP board,” said Easey. “I’m very excited to be part of growing our economy and ensuring that small business and digital have a voice.”

Ruth Carver, director of the Greater Lincolnshire LEP, said: “The digital sector is of crucial importance to the economy of Greater Lincolnshire, so we have been looking to strengthen our knowledge and expertise in this area for a while.

“Not only is Zoe an impressive entrepreneur with excellent contacts in the digital sector, she also typifies the type of person we want to attract onto our boards.

“We are committed to encouraging women from all backgrounds to contribute to our work and we’re very pleased to welcome Zoe to the LEP.”

Shaw and Major

Leicester-based design and marketing agency Creative Direction has reappointed Dominic Shaw as marketing director.

The appointment follows two successful years for Creative Direction, which achieved a 40% year-on-year revenue growth. The firm was founded by director David Major in 1990 and has worked on projects for the likes of British Airways, HSBC and L’Oreal.

Shaw joins from MNE Accounting, where he was marketing manager.

He said: “Creative Direction has a portfolio full of success stories and I’m looking forward to working alongside our existing and prospective clients to help grow their businesses.”

“The agency is going through another positive phase in its evolution and I’m incredibly pleased to be working alongside David in the next stage of the agency’s development.”
