Energy firm wins Nottingham Tram contract

Robin Hood Energy, the Nottingham-based local authority owned energy company, has been awarded a multi-million pound contract to supply green electricity which will power the tram network in Nottingham. NET operator Nottingham Trams, which currently buys its energy from a big six energy provider, has agreed a new deal which will see the company will buy electricity from Robin Hood Energy from April 1.
