PR firm reveals plans to double workforce

PR agency London PR has moved into a new Nottingham office building after completing its purchase and refurbishment earlier this year.

The agency, which was founded in Nottingham in 2007, has bought a unit at Poplars Court in Lenton.

Founded by former Daily Mirror and Nottingham Post staff journalist Steve McComish, the agency began with a focus on national media relations rather than local PR and chose the name London PR to reflect this strategy.

The two storey, 1500 sq ft office building will help the agency achieve their plan to double their six-strong team over the next two years.

McComish said: “Buying our own office is an important milestone in the evolution of the agency. After 12 years in rented offices it certainly isn’t something we have rushed into. Instead we have taken our time to make sure we found the right office for us.

“With the team now all moved in, we are now looking forward to pushing on to further growth. Last year was our biggest ever in terms of fee income and we are expecting to see further growth during 2019.”
