On the move: the latest East Midlands hires
Advisory firm Baldwins has appointed Martin Hadfield as associate director of banking and finance covering its East Midlands and South Midlands office.
Hadfield has joined Baldwins having worked for a number of high street banks in a commercial and corporate capacity for nearly 30 years, including time as the director responsible for the Coventry and Warwickshire commercial banking team at NatWest and RBS.
He will be responsible for helping businesses to seek access to additional funding from a range of funding providers, while reviewing and assessing existing funding arrangements, including foreign exchange.
He said: “We have a key role to play in helping the region’s businesses to battle through and overcome the uncertainty generated by Brexit, and I’m really excited about the challenge ahead.”
Samantha Hewson
Nottingham-based Your IT Department has hired Samantha Hewson as office manager – it’s first female employee.
The firm says it has previously struggled to recruit females in a male-dominated information technology industry.
Hewson said: “I am really looking forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
“I am thrilled at the opportunity to join this predominantly male environment. I have always had a keen interest in technology and am looking forward to recruiting more females in to the industry.”
