Mortgage advisor expands into Castle Donington

Derby mortgage adviser Finance Advice Centre has set up a new franchise in Castle Donington.

Based at the Millhouse Business Centre, Station Road, it has been opened by business partners Lee Griffiths and Lee Chiswell, who have already taken on two more advisers since opening and say they will take on a third next month.

Both Lees previously worked at Finance Advice Centre’s headquarters in Raynesway, Derby, and decided to go into business together last year.

Griffiths said: “I used to live a stone’s throw away from where our office is based in Castle Donington a while ago, so I know it extremely well and can recognise its great potential.”

The franchise is part of the wider Finance Advice Group, which was set up in 2014 by former professional cricketer Matt Cassar and operates three other Centres, in Derby, Nottingham and Ilkeston.

Cassar, managing director, said: “Our company has grown enormously in a relatively short time and our franchises help us to strengthen our local presence for customers who prefer to deal with us face-to-face.

“Both Lees are very experienced mortgage advisers and I have no doubt that by combining their expertise and passion for the industry, our new Castle Donington office will be a complete success.”
