Decorations firm expands into new premises

Corporate and commercial decorations firm Decx has taken a 16,675 sq ft industrial and office unit at Unit B Salcombe Court, Alfreton.

The move is part of a double deal for FHP Property Consultants which also sub-let Decx’s former premises on Wimsey Way in the town.

Andy Guyler, director at Decx, said: “Growth meant that we required larger premises, and as our client base now stretches to the four corners of England and Wales excellent road communications from our base in the East Midlands is vital to our operations. Our new base at Salcombe Court is ideal.”

Chris Proctor of FHP said: “The deal ensured no void periods for my client on their building, whilst also allowing DECX the ability to move to Salcombe Court without carrying over any existing property costs as we found a suitable sub-tenant for their current building simultaneously. A great result all round for all parties involved.”
