eBadges, the Lincolnshire badge-making machine manufacturer, says it is moving its manufacturing back to Britain to meet customer demands and improve quality control and production speed.

The move comes after the firm brought the manufacturing of its Micro badge maker back to the UK from India. It has now made the decision to bring its design and production to the UK.

“With Brexit causing so much uncertainty, we were aware that customer concerns around businesses remaining in the UK was rising,” said Andrew Vear, owner of eBadges. “Our number one priority is having happy customers and keeping stock levels steady, and this move means we can improve the supply chain, continue to offer a fast, reliable delivery service and even have the added bonus of generating additional work within the local economy.”

He added: “Much of our competition has its manufacturing processes in China which means that replacement components are difficult to source and very expensive. Our customers can rest assured that our products will stay competitively-priced.”
