Student accommodation firm opens Nottingham office

A Lincoln firm which provides student accommodation has opened a second office in Nottingham.

Letting agent and property management company, Student Housing, which is part of the Lincoln Property Co. was set up four years ago by former University of Lincoln students Harry Conti and Marcus Askam-Yates.

Llast year Student Housing acquired properties worth over £3m for investors looking to capitalise on Lincoln’s buoyant student housing market.

“The last four years have just flown by, and we’re delighted with how the company has grown,” Conti.

“Marcus and I set the business up shortly after leaving the University of Lincoln. We knew from firsthand experience that there was a gap in the market for a company that would only provide students with top quality accommodation, an all-inclusive approach to bills and exceptional service. We knew students would love the offer and that it would also appeal to investors and landlords who were looking to maximise their annual yields by improving their offering. It’s been a win-win proposition, and we’re now taking that same dedication to Nottingham with our new office.

“The office on Ilkeston Road is ideally situated, and we’ve already had a lot of interest from University of Nottingham students, without really marketing ourselves, which is very promising!”

“A lot of the investors and landlords we work with in Lincoln also own houses in Nottingham, so it was a logical move to open the new office, and it just happened to coincide with our fourth anniversary.”

Conti says he is currently planning the Nottingham office’s opening event, an informal evening of networking and advice for people living in Lincoln who own property in Nottingham or people interested in investing in student property in Nottingham.
