On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

East Midlands manufacturer and supplier, SuperFOIL Insulation has announced two new hires as the company completes its move to Lincoln.

The family-owned company, which moved its operation to a five-acre site in Lincoln this month, has hired two new business development managers; Rob Quinton and Richard Spencer.

William Bown said: “I’m really pleased to be welcoming Richard and Rob to the SuperFOIL team as we start a new chapter of the company’s history in Lincoln. Their experience, skills and talents will help us to make 2019 an even more successful year for the business and they’re already doing great work.

“We’re about to make some big changes which will help the company to grow so they’ll be working hard to enable us to deliver a better product and provide a better service for more and more customers.”

John Shephard

Frozen food distributor Central Foods has announced the appointment of John Shephard as its new business development manager.

His position at Northamptonshire-based Central Foods will involve taking care of key accounts including Bidfood, Caterfood and South Lincs Foodservice.

Bringing over 25 years’ worth of experience working in various roles across the foodservice industry, specialising in bakery, frozen and chilled food-to-go (FTG) sectors, Shephard said: “I am delighted to have joined the Central Foods team and look forward to bringing my many years of experience to a company dedicated to supplying high quality products and service.”

Managing director, Gordon Lauder, added: “We are very pleased to welcome John to Central Foods. His experience right across the foodservice sector will help to strengthen and grow our business development team.”
