Delays of 30 minutes on A42 in Leicestershire
The A42 currently has delays of at least 30 minutes between its junctions of the A453 and the A511 near Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
Highways England says tailbacks are covering around 3.5 miles of the southbound carriageway.
The delays are due to a road traffic collision with lane 1 (of 2) closed.
Highways England says it has resources deployed working hard to restore normal conditions as soon as possible.
