Nottingham PR firm set to make sweet music with Silicon Valley AI leader

A Bossa Nova robot

Nottingham digital PR agency Tank has landed the European-wide brief with US global robotics technology company Bossa Nova.

The San Francisco-based company, which has its European HQ in Sheffield, provides fully-autonomous retail service robots found in some of the world’s biggest supermarkets, with the aim of improving customer experience and efficiencies in bricks and mortar stores.

“Tank impressed us with its genuine excitement and desire to be our PR partner. We were struck by its honest and straight-talking approach to working together. We look forward to working with the business as we expand into supermarkets across the UK and Europe,” said Red McKay, Bossa Nova European managing director and VP of global sales.

Tank has experience in the retail space, with clients including The KPMG Ipsos Retail Think Tank, Ipsos Retail Performance and Harper Dennis Hobbs.

Owner Trevor Palmer said: “This is a big win for Tank, we’re delighted to be able to work with Bossa Nova from the start in Europe. It is using robotics technology like nobody else, and it’s gearing up to transform European grocery retail intelligence.”
