Kegworth firm promotes duo to MD partnership

Andy Tebbutt and Matthew Carr

Kegworth-based food and drink capital investment consultancy, Integrated Food Projects (IFP) has promoted two people to joint-managing director.

Matthew Carr and Andy Tebbutt step up from their previous roles as client solutions director and operations director.

Former managing director, Phillip Chatfield will take on the role of chief executive at IFP Group of Companies.

Joining the company’s founders in 2003, Tebbutt was the first employee at IFP and has been responsible for all operational aspects of the business and project delivery. Carr joined the team in 2012 and has been leading the company’s sales and marketing strategy.

Carr said: “I’m excited to take on the new role of managing director alongside Andy, the past five years have been transformational for the company, growing from a small business to a multi-million pound enterprise. Our international footprint has grown and we have been fortunate to deliver projects in 20 countries across Europe, the Middle East and North America.

“The business is in a strong position within the industry and I’m looking forward to working closely with Andy to grow our portfolio of clients and deliver bigger and better projects around the world.”

Tebbutt said: “From being the first employee at IFP to taking on the new role of managing director has been an amazing personal journey. I’ve put a lot of time into the company and it has provided me with so much, it’s brilliant to have the opportunity to shape the company’s future, and taking on the new challenge alongside Matt is an added bonus.

“The company has grown considerably over the years, we have relocated to our new head office in Kegworth and acquired Structural Design Associates to bolster our design capabilities, whilst also launching IFP Construction to help us provide a total service offering to our clients.”

Chatfield added: “After 17 years of continuous growth, this restructure is a key part of our strategic steps to strengthen operational roles of key individuals and strengthen the business for its next stages. Both Matthew and Andy have made significant contributions to the business and its growth over the last five years, so it’s great for that to be recognised in this promotion.”
