On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

A former University of Nottingham nursing student has been hired as clinical lead with Beeston-based, Unlimited Wellbeing.

Amelia Davies graduated from University of Nottingham in 2015 with a 2:1 degree in adult nursing. She then went onto work as a registered nurse at the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS trust before returning to Nottingham to complete her postgraduate certificate in health and social care.

In her new job, she will play a key role in the development of new products and services as well as overseeing all aspects of regulatory compliance and patient care.

Davies said: “I can’t wait to get started. It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing company that really understands the healthcare needs of modern society and is committed to delivering high quality, affordable solutions.”

Peter Dobson and Chris Humphreys, tax partner

Yorkshire and North Derbyshire accountancy firm BHP has added to its tax department after taking on chartered tax adviser Peter Dobson.

Dobson makes the move to the firm, having previously worked for Deloitte in its Global Mobility team based in Manchester.

His appointment Takes the team to 53 tax advisors, 23 of which are chartered.

Dobson said: “Having spoken to people who know BHP personally, it was so highly recommended by them that I was convinced to join.”

“I was keen to join a firm of this size to allow me to work across all taxes and BHP stood-out in the mid-tier market as both an innovator and a well-known people-centric business.”
