Charnwood Borough Council is set to debate the appointments of a new chief executive at a special meeting on Monday, July 29. Current chief executive Geoff Parker is retiring and following a recruitment process, the Council is proposing the role is taken up by Rob Mitchell, currently chief executive officer at Ashfield District Council in Nottinghamshire.
