Nottingham PR pro makes national top 5

Greg Simpson, the founder of Nottingham-based B2B PR agency Press For Attention PR and sponsor of TheBusinessDesk.com’s Summer Barbecue next week, has been named as one of the UK’s top PR advisers in a national competition run by Enterprise Nation.

Simpson was one of 50 finalists across a range of disciplines who were nominated by peers and clients in this year’s #Top50Advisers competition and the only representative from the Midlands in the PR category.

A public vote decided winners for each category overall with more than 2,000 votes given.

Simpson said: “I’m incredibly proud to have been nominated because these awards start from client feedback and to have made the Top 50 was fantastic. Then when I heard I had made the Top 5 I was a little gobsmacked at first and then just incredibly thankful.

“I have never been shy of sharing free advice in my own marketing and PR and that approach has paid off.

“I always say to my clients that if you are an expert, you are paid for what you know and you must be open to sharing your best advice. I thank everyone who I have worked with, who nominated and who voted for me – it means a lot.”
