East Mids developer makes senior appointment

South Normanton-based developer Sladen Estates has appointed a new project director.

Carl Ward has joined the firm’s senior team, bringing with him more than 15 years’ experience in the industry.

Having worked across a variety of sectors – including logistics, education, healthcare, student accommodation and airports – Ward has experience leading large-scale capital construction projects across the UK.

He said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Sladen Estates team. Having worked in operational roles on both the contractor and client side, I’m really looking forward to this new position giving me the opportunity to use my expertise to influence projects in the development environment.”

Ward will be responsible for providing a construction viewpoint when assessing development viability for new projects, and for the delivery of all on-site construction projects for Sladen Estates.
