Nottingham coworking, shared office and event space, Works Social, has announced a collaboration with flexible-working membership network Dispace.

Dispace has selected fellow local start up, Works Social, as its Nottingham headquarter In addition, Dispace will be adding Works Social as its first on-demand, dedicated workspace day-pass venue.

Since launching in 2018, remote working network Dispace has teamed up with venues across 16 UK cities and town.

With its new partnership with Works Social, Dispace members will be able to access a fully-equipped professional work space with access to printing, meeting rooms and shared kitchen facilities via a day-pass, bookable online. Other coworking spaces are also being added this month including Burton, Bristol and Brighton.

Ross Cox, chief executive of Dispace said: “Changing models of work mean that there is no average anymore. Our aim is to define a solution that is truly flexible around everyone’s individual needs – whether that is a dedicated desk for the day or a place to pop in and get some work done between meetings in a new location or fulfil the basic human need of just hanging out with other people and being part of something bigger. With Works Social we can build on that to provide a combination of solutions to all our members.”

Han van Oudheusden, co-founder of Works Social said: “Partnering with Dispace is an ideal fit for Works Social. We share the same #futureofwork vision but have a slightly different, yet complementary, offer.

“We can provide freelancers and small businesses with a dedicated, professional workspace, as opposed to a bar or restaurant environment where coworking is secondary to its main business.

“Our aim is to provide flexible coworking that is beyond just a work space, but provides a real sense of community, collaboration and support. By welcoming Dispace we can expand the opportunities for collaboration for our members.”
