Pulse ready to let their hair down at Hot Property

Emma Atkins and Ian Carey

As the end of summer quickly approaches, there is one thing Nottingham professionals can look forward to… the countdown to Nottingham Hot Property (NHP)! This week we caught up with Ian Carey from Pulse Consult to talk all things performance and property.

How long have you been involved with Hot Property?

Pulse has been attending Hot Property since our company was founded 10 years ago and we’re proud to have been sponsors for the last four years. As a thank you to our staff we invite all our people to come along and let their hair down – it’s certainly enjoyed by everyone!

What are you most looking forward to this year?

It just gets bigger and better every year, it’s without a doubt one of the most anticipated and best annual events and our staff are already buzzing with excitement! We’re also very much looking forward to seeing our Pulse team members perform as we’ve got a bumper presence at this year’s show.

This year Sam Wynn will be rocking it on drums again and director Phil McKiernan is joining the band on bass guitar. Kelly Hackland, Emma Atkins and Ryan Parker are all on vocals and Emma -a newly appointed Hot Property trustee -will also be singing a solo but we don’t want to give too much away!

Do you have a favourite performance from NHP 2018?

We’re always blown away by the talent on stage each year, it takes a lot of guts to get up there and you can tell that everyone puts in 100% to entertain us for the evening.

It’s hard to pinpoint a standout performance but we were obviously so proud of Pulse’s Kelly Hackland and Nikka Carter’s fantastic Dolly Parton duet – it was amazing! But there really are no words to describe Emma Atkins’ performance of Amy Winehouse, suffice to say it was certainly memorable!

What do you think to this year’s ‘throwback’ theme?

As it’s the 15th anniversary event, I think it’s a great theme. Everyone’s idea of a ‘throwback’ song will be different so we’re hoping for a good mix of cheesy dance hits and some absolute bangers to sing along to. It’s going to be a fab event!

Alongside Pulse Consult the sponsors for this year’s event include B&M Installations, Couch Perry Wilkes, CPMG, Faithful + Gould, Fraser Brown, Samclo Construction, Savills and Shakespeare Martineau. Joining these are Invest in Nottingham, the event’s media partner The Business Desk, PR agency Cartwright Communications, design agency Blimey Creative and design and print agency Ginger Root.
