Sytner to create 21 jobs in Nottingham
Car giant Sytner is set to create 21 jobs in Nottingham after it was granted planning permission to build a new dealership.
The site, on the corner of Bull Close Road and Thane Road near the former Imperial Tobacco factory and Baxter Freight’s premises, will be home to a two-stroey 24,552 sq f car showroom and workshop with site and rooftop parking.
A statement by architects Blackstaff said: “The proposed development reacts in a positive manner to the surrounding land uses, comprising a landmark building that nevertheless relates sympathetically with its boundaries and maintains a scale that is in keeping with surrounding developments.
“The development will contribute positively to the economic growth and prosperity of
Nottingham in a way that is sympathetic to the surrounding built environment.”
Leicester-headquarted Sytner has 100 dealerships across the UK and sells over 20 marques.
