Nottingham law firm looks to extend offices

Nottingham law firm Nelsons has lodged plans with Nottingham City Council to extend its office in the city.

Nelsons wants to to extend its meeting room facilities by demolishing the glazed entrance and building a new 3,000 sq ft glazed extension that would house the meeting rooms at the Stanford Street address.

The planning application says that Nelsons wants to replicate a similar extension to its Derby office in Nottingham.

The plans also include refurbishments to toilets drink preparation areas, cleaners’ stores and staff showers.

In its latest accounts to the end of May 2016 Nelsons made a profit of £2.41m
