On the move: the latest East Midlands hires

Michelle Collins

Nottingham-based digital marketing firm, Hallam Internet, has promoted Michelle Collins to digital marketing consultant.

Collins, originally from Hampshire, joined Hallam Internet 12 months ago. She has also worked for Monster Jobs, Ask Jeeves and Totaljobs, and can boast over ten years’ experience in search marketing.

Susan Hallam, managing director at Hallam Internet, said: “The advanced nature of the work Michelle does, and her commitment to the growth of the business merits this progression in her career. It is well deserved, and we have been hugely impressed by her results and attitude. It is my expectation that she will continue to develop her career at Hallam Internet, and we look forward to see what the future holds.”

BDO has added to its assurance team in the East Midlands.

Andrew Mair and Kyla Bellingall (audit partners) and Jon Lanes (senior manager) will provide senior level experience in audit, not for profit assurance and risk assurance services as part of the building of the BDO teams in Nottingham and Leicester.

Richard Rose, head of BDO in the Midlands said: “We see exciting opportunities for the East Midlands economy and with it opportunities for us to continue to grow. It was a logical step to add to the existing team with individuals who already live in and are part of the local business community. All three will complement and support our ambition to be seen as the leading adviser to ambitious, fast-growth businesses in the East Midlands.”
