Alpine Fire Engineers’ first acquisition

Alpine Fire Engineers Ltd are pleased to announce the asset purchase of AD Sprinkler Ltd’s portfolio of service and maintenance contracts, the transaction completed on the 12th June 2018.

Steven Nanda, Alpine Fire Engineers’ CEO, commented “we cover many sectors within service and maintenance and this acquisition gives us additional strength and depth with a 30% increase in both revenue and directly employed service engineers, we are really looking forward to the ADS team joining us and working with some new and prestigious clients”.

This first acquisition comes only two months after the newly formed Board at Alpine when Steven was appointed as CEO and both Mark Thewlis and Robert Brennan joined existing members David Smith and Stephen Graham.  The appointments and the ADS transaction are a clear reflection of the company’s desire to become the sprinkler specialist and service provider of choice within the UK.

Supporting Alpine in their strategic direction is Core Capital Partners LLP. Core Capital are investing in Alpine to accelerate their growth generally within service and maintenance along with some narrow diversification into new sectors from a project perspective, as the intent, is to remain dominant in logistics to capitalise on their expertise whilst remaining focused on their loyal customer base.

David Steel of Core Capital added “Alpine is already a very successful business and the AD Sprinkler transaction is great news. Core will also be supporting Alpine in their investment in technology to help customer service and communication, accordingly, there is a very busy and exciting period ahead.
