Work Starts on Site at Nottingham Gateway Hotel

GF Tomlinson have started an extension of 36 guest bedrooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nottingham Gateway.  The £2.7m project is designed by Nottingham architects Rayner Davies with structural engineering by Price & Myers.  The extension is the latest phase in the hotels ongoing programme of refurbishment and expansion.  They previously undertook an £5m refurbishment of the existing hotel areas.  The new bedroom extension will take capacity up to 141 bedrooms.

Hotel General Manager Many Goldsmith said “Our occupancy levels are always very high so we are pleased to be able to increase the number of bedrooms we have available to cater for our growing business and tourist clientele”

The work is expected to take 9 months to complete.
