Corporate Tax Solicitor NQ+, Leeds (Re-train Opportunity)
CORPORATE TAX LAWYER NQ+
LEEDS – TOP TIER
RE-TRAIN OPPORTUNITY & PART-TIME CONSIDERED
Our client, a Big Six law firm in Leeds, is looking to recruit a lawyer into its Corporate Tax team.
The role is open to lawyers who are about to qualify or who might already have a couple of years’ experience – either in Tax or another area of the law. It is not essential that you already have Tax experience as the team would be happy to hear from lawyers who would consider re-training into Tax. Whatever your specialism, you need to have a technical mind and enjoy analysing and advising on what are often challenging legal matters.
This is a small, fun and welcoming team in which there is a real emphasis on learning your craft with the continued support of the team. For those wishing to do so, the team will fully support studying for ATT and CTA qualifications. It goes without saying that long-term prospects for Tax lawyers are excellent.
Whoever joins this team will have the opportunity for genuine career progression and will be kept busy with an interesting variety of work spanning sectors such as sport, food and drink, retail, construction, property and private equity. You can expect to work with clients based in the UK as well as overseas.
This role would suit a technically-minded Corporate lawyer who enjoys the subject matter but wants to move into an area in which the hours are more predictable. It would also suit someone coming up to qualification who did not have an opportunity to complete a Tax seat.
You will be expected to have achieved excellent academics.
The team will consider part-time for the right candidate.
To afford you the opportunity to find out more, the interview process will begin with a more informal coffee meeting rather than a formal interview.
Please contact Amy Jaques (07740 662995) or Katie Haggerty (07974 131939) for a confidential discussion about this role.
Any PQE levels referred to in our adverts are shown purely as an indication and do not preclude those candidates with more or less PQE from applying.
