IN-HOUSE LAWYERS – FINANCIAL SERVICES, 3+ PQE TO SENIOR LEVEL
LEEDS CITY CENTRE – MODERN OFFICES
Salary of up to £60,000 based on experience plus a generous benefits package inc. bonus
Rarely are there opportunities for lawyers with Financial Services expertise to move into in-house roles in the North of England. We are delighted to be assisting this household name financial services brand in recruiting two experienced Financial Services lawyers into its city centre Leeds-based Legal team.
Because of the nature of the business, there is a firm focus on retail financial services products related to mortgages and property law, so whilst you do not need to have prior experience of these areas specifically, you must be able to demonstrate a palpable interest and solid Financial Services experience.
We would be keen to hear from lawyers with a general commercial contracts background who have Financial Services experience as well as lawyers with specific Financial Services (perhaps non-contentious Regulatory) experience.
This is a constantly-evolving business in which there are always new legal and regulatory issues to consider. You will be advising the business not only on the black and white letter of the law but also on legal strategy and practical implications and processes. It is your desire to constantly look for new and better ways of doing things that is so important to our client; this is a dynamic environment and you will find the work stimulating.
Whether you are a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive, if you have the relevant experience then we would love to discuss the role with you.
Lawyers based in Yorkshire as well as those from further afield who would like to relocate to this vibrant city are encouraged to get in touch with us.
Please call Katie Haggerty (07974 131939) or Amy Jaques (07740 662995) for more details and a confidential discussion.
Any PQE levels referred to in our adverts are shown purely as an indication and do not preclude those candidates with more or less PQE from applying.
