James Garment

The technical director of structural and civil engineering consultancy firm Curtins says his firm is in “attack mode” as it approaches its 40th anniversary.

Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com at the MIPIM property event in Cannes, James Garment also revealed the company is set to refurbish its Nottingham city centre offices, which is home to around 30 staff.

Garment said that Curtins is busy working on projects in the education, care home and built-to-rent sectors, and that the company is already ahead of the ambitious targets it set itself for 2019 having had a stellar twelve months last year.

He added: “The last six years has seen us grow – we seem to have hit our sweet spot. Now, I think we’ll go on the attack and target new sectors such as rail. It’s a pivotal time for the company.

“We’re also looking to refurbish and extend our offices on the Ropewalk and have them completed by the time we celebrate our 40th annivesary early next year.”
